Cutter was one of many G.I. Joe operatives sent to the planet Cybertron its hostile lifeforms. The Joes eventually joined forces with the Autobots against the Decepticons, who had similarly aligned themselves with Cobra. After the Joes set up camp within the Autobots' mobile city, Metroplex, he tattooed an Autobot sigil on Gung-Ho's left arm at his request. Everybody Hates Metroplex
