Back in the day, Dee Jay was the go-to guy for delivering hot intel as Battleforce 2000's radio telephone operator. But now that G.I. Joe has all-but decommissioned his team, his skills are hardly ever put to good use anymore.

When Optimus Prime, the Serpentress, and her Decepticon stooges all wound up in a brawl near the United Nations building, Dee Jay and the rest of Battleforce 2000 were called in to help with the situation. Dee Jay mused aloud on how desperate the situation must have been for the higher-ups to call in him and his team, seeing as how they had been "mothballed" for so long. Expelled from the Garden
