- The Dragonfly is a vehicle from the Generation 1 continuity family.
The Dragonfly was first introduced to the G. I. Joe arsenal in 1983 and immediately became their standard assault helicopter. The typical pilot is Wild Bill, although other Joes are certified to operate it as well.

When Serpentor made his move and took control of Power Station Alpha remotely, a Dragonfly was among the aircraft that Hawk scrambled in an effort to retrieve the facility. It and its crew succeeded in downing a Rattler. Power Struggle

The Dragonflies were called in as the first strike against Megatron. He shrugged off their fire, shot one out of the air in retaliation, and completely ignored the rest. Ancient Relics!
Notes
- Like many G. I. Joe vehicles, the Dragonfly is based on a real-world design. In this instance, the real-world inspiration is the AH-1 Cobra.
