As marathon runner and body-builder even before he joined the G. I. Joe team Sergeant Joseph "Recoil" Felton was a prime candidate for entry into the United States military's LRRP ("Long Range Recon Patrol") program. Because of his peak physical condition he can easily haul large quantities of weaponry and gear across great distances, all while keeping absolutely quiet.
