Slug participated in a battle against the Decepticons until Optimus paused the confrontation to talk about the live-action film series. Slug was the one who wrote Optimus's script for his presentation, and became enraged when Bumblebee criticized his prose. Take Us Through the Movies To wrap up his monologue, the Autobot leader introduced Slug and the rest of the Dinobots to the audience.
