One would think that the last place a person with a master's degree in Eastern philosophy would want to be is on the front lines in any capacity, let alone as an Airborne Ranger. But Sergeant Phillip "Freefall" Arndt would care to disagree. He enjoyed every minute of a 14-week training process meant to weed out as many people as possible, which should say something about the kind of person he is.
