Grindor (Classics)
| The name or term "Grindor" refers to more than one character or idea. For a list of other meanings, see Grindor (disambiguation). |
- Grindor is a Decepticon-allied Mini-Con from the Unicron Trilogy and Generation 1 continuity families.

Grindor is the apparent leader of the Dirt Digger Team, a band of rowdy roughnecks whose backwoods mannerisms mask their incredible skill as spies. Grindor in particular likes to disguise his true intelligence behind a "lumbering brain-dead brute" act, keeping friend and foe alike off-guard.

Classics
Grindor and his fellow Dirt Diggers signed up with Broadside to keep Cybertron Autobot-free and safe for Mini-Cons. His team was modifying the transmitter beacon that was welcoming the Autobots home when they were caught red-handed by Hacksaw of the Dinobots. Grindor jumped him from behind, and a fight ensued. The massive Mini-Con attempted to squeeze the life out of Hacksaw, but one solidly placed knee shook his grip loose. Hacksaw was ultimately defeated by Broadside himself, who had arrived to check up on the Dirt Digger Team. With Hacksaw dead, Broadside decided to pin the murder on the Dirt Diggers, and didn't give them much say in the matter. Grindor and his comrades were forced to go underground as fugitives until Broadside found a way to "clear their names". The New World

- Dirt Digger Team (Mini-Con Team, 2007)
- Grindor transforms into a 1950 Chevrolet Panel truck with oversized "monster truck" tires. He was only available as part of the Dirt Digger Team, part of the second wave of Classics Mini-Cons, packaged with his teammates Dirt Rocket and Oil Slick.
- It's unclear if his wheels are misassembled or not: His official stock photos depict the wheels with the pegs as the rear wheels and the wheels with the corresponding holes as the front wheels. The toy itself has the wheels swapped, which is backed up by his instructions. Either way works, as it does not affect his functionality or transformation in any way whatsoever, and one would never notice if it weren't for the stock photos.
- This sculpt was also used to make Bodyblock, who uses the wheel assembly shown in Grindor's stock photos.
Notes
- Grindor's alternate mode and colors are inspired by the famous monster truck Grave Digger.
- The Classics Mini-Cons were originally intended to be released as part of the Cybertron toy line in "Vs" 2-packs. It is unknown what Grindor's original faction, package-partner and name were. According to Hasbro package copy writer Forest Lee (via personal correspondence), many of the toys did not have Cybertron-setting bios written before the changeover.
- In the official stock photo of his robot mode, his head is folded down. Whoops!
