The Generator was being held at a human military base. The Decepticons got wind of its location, and dispatched a team including Blitzwing, Straxus and Ruckus to obtain it, but the humans sent an S.O.S., summoning a team of Autobots to help defend the Generator. The Decepticons managed to locate the generator and activate it, giving themselves a supercharge that allowed them to drive the Autobots to the brink of defeat. At that point the MacGuffin Generator exploded, and the shock wave hurled the Decepticons off into the distance. Raiding Party

• The MacGuffin Generator's purpose or functions are never revealed. All that can be inferred from the name is that it is highly important, a sign of poor writing. The Generator could also create "MacGuffins", a storytelling term for very important items.
  • So, wait, if it creates MacGuffins, does that mean it could create Matrix of Leaderships? Then everyone could be a Prime! I can see it now: Bumble Prime, or Iron Prime, or, Primus forbid, Starscream Prime.
