Recruited from Destro's Iron Grenadier troops, Annihilators serve the weapons dealer as his elite airborne troops. Thanks to their mini-turbine Heli-packs, they can deploy from air, sea, or land.

When Destro tried to sell off several S.N.A.K.E. units only for the transaction to be interrupted by an Autobot raid, several Annihilators and T.A.R.G.A.T.s came to his rescue. One Annihilator provided Destro with the means to flee the scene (though he was distracted by a flying saucer along the way) while the rest of the team provided them with cover fire.
