Robert Hansen
- Robert Hansen is a human from the Cybertron portion of the Unicron Trilogy continuity family.
Robert Hansen is the patriarch of the Hansen family, which includes his wife and three sons: grown-up and independent Tim, mechanical prodigy Coby, and hyperactive Bud. He loves his children, but doesn't always know how to interact with them and is easily distracted away from them. Despite this, he means well and is still arguably a better father than some individuals in the history of the franchise.

When Coby was young, Robert took his family to an amusement park. He video-tapped the event, teased his son over his love for "Green Gloop" drink, and suggested they take a whole pool-full of the stuff home. Coby was greatly amused. Collapse
Years later, Robert cheered on Coby as he raced in a junior Motocross championships. When Coby fell off his bike and was ready to forfeit the race, Robert encouraged him to get back up and soldier on, despite his chances at coming in first having already been ruined. At the end of the race, he approached his son and told him that because he had not given up when he was down, he had the spirit of a winner. Champion
Prior to the Transformers' arrival on Earth, Robert Hansen enjoyed an outing at a family picnic, where he raced his elder two sons on some Motocross bikes. Fallen
Some tie later, Robert and his wife returned home unexpectedly while Bud and Coby were entertaining guests... who happened to be transforming alien robots. The boys hid Reverb and Six-Speed in their closet, but their father caught on immediately that they were acting suspicious. His inquiries were interrupted by a call from his next-door neighbor, whom his wife reported was claiming he could catch more fish than Robert with his new fishing pole. Robert retorted he could out-fish the braggart with a string and a safety pin, and left to take the call. That evening, a tremor hit Rockville, and Robert and his wife were evacuated to city hall. Not seeing their children among the people there, the couple worried that their boys were in danger. Coby and Bud returned to them safe and sound after the danger had passed. Collapse
Some time later, Robert was unsuccessfully trying to fix his motocross bike in his garage when Coby came by. He enlisted his son's aid to repair to vehicle, giving the two some much-needed male-bonding time during the task. Hero
While reading the paper at the breakfast table, Robert was told a story by Coby about a race filled with all sorts of improbable stunts. He assumed his son was making things up, and only managed to mumble "uh-huh, that's nice..." in response to the tale. Detour
