Tokyo Toy Show
From MediaWiki
The International Tokyo Toy Show, typically referred to simply as Tokyo Toy Show (東京おもちゃショー Tōkyō Omocha Shō), is Japan's largest and most important annual trade show for the toy industry. It has been held in Tokyo every year since 1962.
In 1983, Hasbro representatives visiting the Tokyo Toy Show got their first look at Diaclone and Micro Change toys. This would inspire Henry Orenstein and George Dunsay to create what would ultimately become the Transformers toys and storyline.
In subsequent years, the event has also offered a number of exclusive figures.
