One could argue that Sergeant Robert M. Blais, AKA Cross-Country, was literally born to operate heavy machinery since his father drove a bulldozer and his mother drove a grader. He has an innate knack for getting his vehicles to do what he wants them to do and uncanny sense for selecting the best terrain to bring them through, making him an elite operator.
