The Empties are the miserable losers, named for their chronic low fuel, who live in the Dead End. One of them is named Wheezel, who is the kind of guy who knows a thing or two, and can remember them if you jog his memory with some fuel. Another of the Empties looks like a certain golden "droid" from the Star Wars universe, though his color is different.
