Hurricane is an Autobot Turbomaster from the Generation 1 continuity family.

Hurricane is the Turbomasters' Defense Tactics Specialist. He's responsible for formulating their defensive strategies, and uses his intense attention to detail, and his near-clairvoyant forward-thinking, to plan for any eventuality.

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

After the conquest of Cybertron by Megatron and the Aerospace Extermination Squadron, Hurricane and the rest of the Turbomasters evaded capture and participated in the Autobot underground resistance. The Age of Wrath Pt.2 Perceptor briefed the Turbomasters in the Think-Tank about the attempt to locate the missing Optimus Prime. When Perceptor left them alone, however, the Turbomasters partook in a game of tear'n'chase. Flash evaded his pursuing team-mates, but accidentally drove into the Dimensional Interface Assembly, sending him somewhere very far from home... The Age of Wrath Pt.3

Due to Dreamwave's closure, the War Within series ended prematurely. Years later, Simon Furman released the unpublished scripts to the final three issues: Following Flash's sudden disappearance, Hurricane and the other Turbomasters argued with Perceptor over what had happened in their absence. Perceptor eventually realized that Flash had been drawn through the Interfacer, but was unable to deal with the situation as the examination of a captured Aerospace Extermination Squadron drone took priority. The Age of Wrath Pt.4

Wings Universe

During the five stellar cycles prior to the rise of the "second generation" of Transformers on Earth, Hurricane worked with Scorch, Flash, and Boss in clearing out Decepticon nests all across the galaxy. Scorch's profile

Hurricane transforms into a "Le Mans"-style racer loosely based on a Porsche 917. His engine in vehicle mode is a spring-loaded missile-launching cannon usable in both vehicle and robot modes.
The figure was also released in Japan as the character Checker Road.
