• Sue's identity was originally unclear as she looked like a Kiss Players incarnation of her mother alongside a decades-older version of her mother. Her identity as an original character was confirmed by Hayato Sakamoto at BotCon 2016.
• Her name likely comes from her mother's American voice actor, Susan Blu.
