Transformers: Combiner Wars is an animated web series set to premiere on August 2, 2016. The series, produced by Machinima, is targeted at older audiences, and ties into the concurrent Combiner Wars imprint. The series itself will be run by Eric S. Calderon, George Krstic, and F.J. DeSanto.

As of January 31st, 2016, the scripts for the first seven episodes have been finalized, according to Machinima. On June 23, screenshots from the series were released, and a prelude trailer was released on June 28. The series is set to debut August 2 on the go90 platform.

Overview

Many years after the end of the Great War, Cybertron is at peace. However, the introduction of an ancient artifact brings combiners into a volatile political situation, which threatens to re-ignite the old war all over again.
