Donatello took part in the races to win the triple cup. Though he lead for much of the first race, he was overtaken and beaten by a mysterious purple car which disappeared after the race. This pattern repeated for the second race, though the purple car's speed caused the stands to collapse. For race three, the cars were all fitted with technology in the form of Directional Momentum Amplifiers to make them go faster, however this resulted in them being difficult to control. Donatello's car was brought safely to a halt a few feet short of the finish line, and he missed out on winning the cup. Hot Rod Bot
