Chris McFeely is a Northern Irish Transformers fan who, having fallen ass-backwards into the good graces of DVD company Metrodome, has regularly contributed to DVD releases of the various Transformers series in the United Kingdom. In addition to acting in a general "advice giving" capacity for several of the Generation 1 boxsets (most notably ensuring the restoration of the original ending to "Dark Awakening"), McFeely's contributions include:
- The Headmasters—Audio commentaries on "Four Warriors Come out of the Sky", "The Mystery of Planet Master" and "Birth of the Fantastic Double Prime", and liner notes.
- Super-God Masterforce—Audio commentaries on "Rise Up!! Pretenders", "God Ginrai - Showdown on the Surface of the Moon", and "Crisis! The Day of Human Extinction", liner notes and general fine-tuning of the subtitle translations by Jordan L. Derber.
- Victory—Audio commentaries on "The Brave Hero of the Universe - Star Saber", "Rescue! Guyhawk", and "Showdown! The Fortress vs the Victory Unification", liner notes and more subtitle work.
- The Takara Collection—A collection of the three box sets above, with an additional audio commentary for Zone.
- The Transformers: The Movie Ultimate Edition—Audio commentaries for the film, "Scramble City: Mobilization" and the deleted and alternate footage, and liner notes.
McFeely also provided the character profiles for Maximum Entertainment's 2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon DVD box sets, in which he made lots of goofy Generation 1 references and willfully screwed with people by kinda-sorta including that stuff about the Predacons being time-travellers before most of the fandom (including him) knew it was actually true. McFeely has also contributed to the Facebook edition of Ask Vector Prime as well as Transformers: Renegade Rhetoric.
