Basketrek

Basketrek is a sport from the Marvel portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Basketrek is a Cybertronian sport that uses ballobots. It seems to involve considerable bouncing of these accessories, and may be similar to the Earthly sport of basketball.

Jetfire briefly mentioned the sport of basketrek and the ballobots used in it to Donny Finkleberg. He said very little, but spoke as if he was personally familiar with the sport. This is odd, since he was built on Earth by Shockwave not too long after the Autobots awoke on Earth. This may indicate the sport's importance in Transformer culture, and reflect Jetfire's desire to fit in with his new robot friends. Aerialbots over America!

Ask Vector Prime

Vector Prime got into a pick-up game of Basketrek with an Iocus-cluster space knight. As he had underwent the Silver Modification process, he had quite a jump shot. Ask Vector Prime
