Stampy (BW)
| This article is about the Beast Wars Neo Maximal. For the Animated Autobot, see Stampy (Animated). |
- Stampy is a Maximal from the Beast Wars Neo portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Stampy (スタンピー Sutanpī) is young, cute and... well, not the bravest Transformer around. In fact, he's a huge coward, which greatly frustrates his teammates. When he's not scared slagless at the thought of his next mission, this rabbit Transformer is quite cheerful and well liked, which makes others eager to help him overcome his fears.
Despite his youth and cowardice, he's an excellent scout. His innate speed and extremely sensitive ears make him perfect for gathering intelligence and getting the info (and himself) back to base in one piece (the way he most definitely prefers it). And if worse comes to worse, he can always transform into his "Scissor Mode" to slice opponents with his diamond-sharp blades... though that really only works if he's being carried by someone else, limiting the mode's usefulness.

When Big Convoy fought the Maximals, Stampy gave up instantly on fighting. Later, he was kidnapped by the Predacons, but was rescued by Heinrad's ability to stop time. Big Convoy, Move Out

When the Maximals shot each other, Stampy's safe cautions got the better of him. Break and Cohrada showed no mercy to the Maximal bunny. Later, Stampy informed Longrack and Big Convoy about the energy reading, which did not exist. Stampy ran to get help, but the clouds blocked his "Mighty Ear" transmission attempt.

He then encountered Guiledart and Sling. They tried to kill him, but mercifully let him off the hook. Stampy utilized his speed to rescue the Maximals while evading the electric blasts. He managed to destroy the generators holding them. Stampy transmitted a Spyshot to Big Convoy despite him knowing it would not get there in time. He attacked Magmatron only to be tempered with brute strength. Guiledart prepared to use lightning from his dinosaur hand to kill Stampy, but Big Convoy trashed the Predacons before that could happen. The Maximals said sorry for mocking Stampy, but Stampy discovered that the real Angolmois was above his head in stone within the stasis lock. He rested in the CR chamber. Hang in There, Stampy

Stampy later traveled with the Pack to prehistoric Earth to rescue Razorbeast and company. He was very eager to get down there and try out his new rabbit beast form. This "bounding" exuberance, quite predictably, got on Longrack's nerves. When they reached their destination and took on the Predacons, Stampy was seen to handle Manta Ray and Scavenger quite handily. The Ascending #2

Beast Wars Neo

- Stampy (Basic, 1999)
- Japanese ID number: C-31
- Stampy transforms into a rather vicious-looking organic snow hare seemingly designed to have his beast mode be in a permanent mid-leap pose. His robot hands are compatible with 5mm posts. His "Scissor Mode" turns him into... an awkward pile of rabbit parts with his pincers and ear-blades pointing vaguely forward, which barely scissor open and closed when his tail is pulled on. This mode is designed to be used as a hand-held weapon by larger Transformers toys, having a 5mm peg on his underside, though Stampy's weight often forces the wielder's arm to droop or the whole body to become off-balance and topple over. The Scissor Mode gimmick gives him a "shrugging" action in robot mode.

- Grasslands Showdown: Stampy VS Sling (Multi-pack, 1999)
- Japanese ID number: VS-31
- Stampy was also available in a "VS" two-pack with the Predacon Sling. Both toys were identical to their individual releases.
Notes

- When in beast mode, Stampy's eyes are able to project holographic radar. There Are 7 Capsules
- As evidenced on the official Transformers Facebook page, Stampy moonlights as the Easter bunny, hiding eggs from hungry children.
