Apex has been used for several Transformers characters and concepts.

• 1987 — Hi-Q, who is sometimes known as Apex for copyright reasons, the Powermaster and occasional Headmaster for the Optimus Prime from theGeneration 1 continuity family.
• 2014 — Apex, the ship used by Ginrai (which is also sometimes another name for Hi-Q) in the Wings Universe.
• 2016 — Apex, the Headmaster for Optimus Prime who is NOT Hi-Q from Beast Wars: Uprising.
