Scatterspike (RID)
- Scatterspike is a Decepticon from the Robots in Disguise portion of the Aligned continuity family
Scatterspike is the rowdiest, quick-slingin'est member of them Scavengers. There's nothin' in life that she likes more than gettin' her paws on some good ol' fashioned Autobot salvage, even if it means tunnelin' through a whole mountain's worth o' dirt and muck and what have ya. Any dadburned claim-jumpers in the area know better than to try and tangle with Scatterspike, as they'll wind up with a mess o' her spines in their armor. Her quills have all kinds o' wild effects capable of hornswogglin' any of the varmits she deals with, just like some other feller.
As o' late, she's been workin' with the Mini-Con Sawtooth, although the li'l critter's a bit too yellow-bellied for her rootin', tootin', tastes - prone to runnin' when the going gets hard and suchlike.

Aiming to find a big haul, Scatterspike and Sawtooth headed to Mount St. Hilary, location of the first Autobot base on Earth, and set about drilling. The operation was stumbled on by Strongarm and Fixit, though the two scavengers both immediately got the drop on them. When the Autobots persisted, Scatterspike hit Strongarm with her quills, only for Strongarm to become magnetized, sticking the two foes together. The fight spilled out into a nearby human settlement, causing Strongarm to have to explain Scatterspike as construction equipment. When it turned out the drilling was causing the volcano to become unstable, Strongarm finished the fight quickly by cuffing Scatterspike. Sawtooth was later able to free her, and in return when they returned to the other scavengers, Scattertooth blamed their lack of success on the Mini-Con. Strongarm's Big Score

- Scatterspike is a redeco of Quillfire, and transforms from a spiky porcupine-like Decepticon into an off-road vehicle. She does not, alas, feature a new head to match her character model, instead retaining Quillfire's. She includes a small non-firing blaster weapon, as well as a single quill which she can either hold in her hand or plug into her back with a solid-molded array of quills.

- In the Italian dub, Scatterspike was turned into a male for unknown reasons.
