Monster GoBot

The Monster GoBots are a Renegade subgroup from the GoBots continuity family.

The Monster GoBots are a subgroup of Renegades who transform into monsters. After hopping to a distant universe, they disguised themselves as a local Predacon gang known as the Antares Eight.

The Monster GoBots were creations of the Master Renegade. Three of them, Bugsie, Klaws, and Hornet, were active early on during the war. They left shortly after Cy-Kill's reign began to seek their creator, but returned to the Renegades when it became apparent that the Master Renegade was not the man he once was.

Three of them guarded him on Antares III, Creepy, Scorp, and Vamp. Scorp and Vamp were drawn away by a new Monster GoBot built by Cy-Kill, Pincher. Creepy remained loyal, and was eventually joined by the Master Renegade's newest creation, Bladez.

During Cy-Kill's time in exile in Axiom Nexus, he recruited six Predacons to his cause. He modified them, giving them standard GoBot blasters and flight capability, as well as giving them the ability to combine into Monsterous. It seems likely they would be considered Monster GoBots as well. A Mini-Con he recruited, Odd Ball, was similarly modified (minus the combiner technology). Renegade Rhetoric (1)
