Wasn't the episode's title misspelled? Interrobang 23:46, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
- Sadly, yes, I believe as "Scorpinok." --ItsWalky 23:48, 31 October 2006 (UTC)
RID 2015 Scorpinok
The RID 2015 character Scorpinok is listed both as one of the various Scorponoks AND under the list of things that should not be confused for Scorponok. I don't think it would be right to say Scorpinok is both a Scorponok and not a Scorponok, but I'm not sure which would be the proper way to list him on this page. Thoughts? - Also there's already a Scorponok in Aligned... I'm wondering if we shouldn't just treat the Scorpinok from the game as the same Scorponok who damaged Grimlock's vocal processors in gladiatorial combat and correct the name. --abates (talk) 22:02, 26 July 2015 (EDT)
- Is "Aligned Scorponok"'s only note is that he was a gladiator and was responsible for damaging Grimlock's vocal processor? If that's the case, then I think that would make sense to put him on RID Scorpinok's page, but how would the title be written? Scorponok with the "o" was mentioned first, but the Scorpinok with the "i" was the one that actually had enough content to create a page. Would it be reasonable to have the disambig read "Scorponok/Scorpinok from the Aligned continuity family" or should we only choose one spelling to go by? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by SoundJack426 (talk • contribs).
- I'd say since the "Scorpinok" only appeared in files and not in the game itself and is a common misspelling that Hasbro does not (so far as I know?) have trademarked, I'd say he ought to go under the traditional spelling. - Chris McFeely (talk) 12:21, 27 July 2015 (EDT)
- So far as I'm aware, the only appearance of the other Aligned Scorponok is as a part of Grimlock's Hall of Fame bio, so those facts are literally all we know about him. Failing other information, it seems reasonable to assume he and the game version of Scorpinok are the same dude. --abates (talk) 15:26, 27 July 2015 (EDT)

- Similar problem with the Energon episode Scorpinok, it is listed under both "Media with Scorponok in the title" and "Not to be confused with". Going by precedent set by pages like Scattershot (disambiguation) and Skids (disambiguation), I'd say that minor spelling differences that don't really change the name should not influence which section an entry goes in. --Khajidha (talk) 22:04, 26 July 2015 (EDT)
Paralon
Should we add RiD Paralon to the "Not to be confused with" section?
