The Transformers cartoon

Voice actor: Neil Ross (English), ? (Japanese)

Sweep No. 4 was (presumably) created by Unicron from the remains of fallen Decepticon warriors, following the Decepticons' failed assault on Autobot City. The Transformers: The Movie

Sweep No. 4 joined the other Decepticons in an attack on Outpost One. After they destroyed the station, they encountered Blurr and Wheelie, eventually fighting them in Jupiter's atmosphere. No. 4 got shot in the face by Wheelie, crippling his guidance system; out of control, he fell down through the planet's atmosphere, screaming for Galvatron to aid him all the while, but the Decepticon leader merely entreated him to "meet his end with dignity" since he couldn't stand his whining. Transformers Legends comic

When the other Sweeps did an introductory lineup, Galvatron wondered about No. 4's absence, which prompted the Sweep's ghost to appear. The phantom sent the Decepticon leader fleeing in fear. LG-26 Scourge Prologue

Notes

  • No. 4 is identified as the dead Sweep due to the number 4 being a homophone of "death" in Japanese.
