- Stormbringer is a Decepticon from the Dreamwave portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.
Stormbringer is a Decepticon who joined Starscream's Predacons after the disappearance of Optimus Prime and Megatron in a space bridge accident.

Stormbringer was present when Megatron tore off Emirate Xeon's head and presented it to the crowd gathered in the Forge. The War Within #2
Stormbringer, along with Hardcase and Pulse, was assigned by Starscream to meet two ships loaded with energon at the Moon Alpha spaceport. However, all three were slain by Grimlock and the Lightning Strike Coalition before Starscream and the energon arrived. Fragmentation
Notes
- The robot in The War Within #2 was not named in his original appearance. Ask Vector Prime would later retcon him to be the "Stormbringer" mentioned in "Fragmentation".
- Stormbringer is based on the Dia Battles toy from the Diaclone line that was never brought over into the The Transformers toyline. The toy itself comes in primary colors.
