G.I. Joe vol. 5
G.I. Joe is a comic book published by IDW Publishing, beginning in December 2016. It is the fifth G.I. Joe series from the company, debuting after nearly a two-year hiatus since the fourth volume, and the first Joe series released after the continuity's integration into the Hasbro Universe, retroactively establishing that the entire IDW Joe output had occurred in the same universe as their Transformers books.

Overview
Following the events of Revolution, G.I. Joe evolves into an international fighting force no longer controlled by the American government. Their shadow war with Cobra is in the past; now, numerous alien arrivals have made the world a whole lot weirder, and it's up to the Joes to confront the various fantastical threats it now faces.

The series is written by Aubrey Sitterson, with art by Giannis Milonogiannis and colors by Lovern Kindzierski.
