- Crunch is an Autobot Micromaster from the Dreamwave portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

Crunch is an Autobot Micromaster who spends time with the Hot Rod Patrol. His most important contribution is dying.

Dreamwave Generation One continuity

While attempting to rescue Roadbuster, Crunch was shot and killed by Motorhead. His untimely death prompted Big Daddy to angrily confront Ultra Magnus and Fortress Maximus, and was an important factor in the growing rift between Micromasters and "guzzlers". Destined for Nothing
Inside a secret nightclub in Little Iacon where Autobot and Decepticon Micromasters co-mingled, Hubs informed Motorhead that he had killed Crunch. Motorhead had not intended to kill the Autobot, and was quite shaken by the news. The Gray Race
Beast Wars: Uprising
Crunch was a Micromaster soldier in the Grand Uprising. He and his unit were given a "combat upgrade package" before shipping out to Lower Ky-Alexia which actually contained the insidious Vehicon coding. They were deliberately isolated and cut off from their army by the Builders, allowing the Resistance to capture Crunch and his comrades. Brought behind enemy lines, they were forced to fight each other in new Games for the Resistance's amusement in Protihex. When the "upgrade" activated, the Micromasters were converted into sparkless Vehicon drones, swarming Protihex and converting more Cybertronians to their side. Safe Spaces Derailment
