Synopsis
[edit]The book doesn't have an actual plot per se. Rather, it presents a series of one-on-one duels involving an Autobot and a Decepticon; no outcome is given, and save for the first duel no reason is even given as to why the two are fighting.
The duels are, in order:
- Optimus Prime vs. Megatron
- Bumblebee vs. Starscream
- Ratchet vs. Lugnut
- Prowl vs. Lockdown
- Bulkhead vs. Blitzwing
- Grimlock vs. Blackarachnia

[edit]- Whereas the other three books in the batch (Masters of Deception!, More Than Meets The Eye!, Robots in Disguise!) were profile books, this one at least hints at there being some stories; this makes it unique among the four.
- The Optimus / Megatron feud, Prowl / Lockdown feud, and Grimlock / Blackarachnia feud actually tie into the cartoon series, suggesting that the other three feuds were also supposed to be somehow based on what transpired in the cartoon.
- The book is published on a very thick paper stock, the kind of stock used to make the covers of some kids' hardbacks; these books were quite likely meant for very young audiences.
