Synopsis

[edit]

This book recounts the events of "Garbage In, Garbage Out" and "Velocity", through the use of cartoon screen captures arranged in comic book style panels.

Notes

[edit]

Garbage In, Garbage Out

[edit]
  • The outraged citizen whose car Ratchet trashes doesn't call him a "lousy alien machine" or an "overgrown vacuum cleaner". Likewise Ratchet clanking his magnets to scare the guy off is missing too.
  • Sari doesn't ask for the magic word when Ratchet tells her to get in.
  • Wreck-Gar pulling things from his backpack after first coming online is skipped.
  • The driver calling Wreck-Gar a "walking pile of garbage" is missing, making his later statement when Angry Archer names him seem out of the blue.
  • Wreck-Gar's reading of the Detroit Police from the side of the crashed patrol car is missing, and his "You are here to help, right?" line is swapped in order with the cop's line about interfering with police business.
  • Wreck-Gar putting the jewels in his backpack, and the subsequent back and forth as Angry Archer tries to get them back is skipped.
  • Carly Witwicky's name is spelled "Carlee", as per her model sheet.
  • Angry Archer making a getaway after Wreck-Gar throws him into the air is missing.
  • After Bumblebee asks Wreck-Gar for the Micro-Bots, Wreck-Gar pulling more objects from his backpack is missing.
  • Likewise, when Lugnut says the Autobots will pay, Wreck-Gar suggesting a method of cash payment is omitted.
  • Wreck-Gar responding to Lugnut's "Get it off me!" by unscrewing his tail section is gone too—Lugnut's aft section just breaks off of its own accord.
  • The scene of Wreck-Gar aboard the garbage scow after Porter C. Powell asks if the contract is renewed is skipped entirely.
  • Ratchet's line about making things right or getting eaten by microbots is also missing.
  • Wreck-Gar pushing the accelerator up to maximum on the scow is missing too.

Velocity

[edit]
  • Bulkhead doesn't ask the racer he rescues for an autograph.
  • His confusion over the term "underground racing" and Captain Fanzone's explanation are skipped.
  • The tail end of the scene in which Bumblebee arrives at the crash scene is missing.
  • Bumblebee's announcement that it's not fair is also trimmed.
  • Most of the back and forth between Sari and Bulkhead about how she's pirated the pay-per-view signal is gone, with the dialog going from him saying she lied to him to Bumblebee telling him to lighten up.
  • Bumblebee's jab about Sari's height is missing too, as is his line "The broadcasts came from a piece of cake?" and Sari's response.
  • When confronting the blue car, Bumblebee doesn't lose traction in the mud.
  • In line with the removal of the earlier piece about stealing cable, Master Disaster's line about Bumblebee being a loyal paying customer is gone. Also excised are the following exchange about the blue car, and Master Disaster's dialog about arranging a tragic accident.
  • The scene with Bulkhead and Sari at HQ is gone, cutting to Bumblebee spotting Blitzwing.
  • Bumblebee telling Bulkhead about bending the rules and Bulkhead's response are skipped. The tail end of the scene with Sari calling out Bumblebee's crossed fingers too.
  • The next two scenes: Fanzone interrogating a driver, and Sari persuading Bumblebee to let her come along, are gone completely.
  • Bumblebee being attacked by Blitzwing is cut down majorly, skipping the ice skating sequence and the bridge crashing on Blitzwing and instead going straight from Blitzwing's initial shots to Bumblebee finding Fanzone's car.
  • The banter between Fanzone and Sari after Fanzone jumps into Bumblebee is missing. The following sequence where Blitzwing fires more missiles at Bumblebee is also gone.
  • Blitzwing's lines as the blue racer takes him out are missing.
  • According to a narration box, the blue racer flashes its lights at Bumblebee when he thanks it at the end.
