Under the influence of the Quintessons' subliminal message "sloppiness is bad, cleanliness is good", the short Junkion went to collect stuff lying around the planet to tidy. In doing so, he found the journal the Quintessons had secretly been after. He took it to Wreck-Gar to ask where to leave it, and the Junkion leader told him to put the thing in the tube pile. In the UK version of the story, the events of "The Big Broadcast of 2006" are a fabrication invented by Wreck-Gar.

Short Junkion is bestest of all Junkions! When Junkions hypnotized into cleaning up home-world, he puts chief's tube in the tube pile! Chief told him not to call him chief though. Short Junkion said "sorry about that, chief." The Big Broadcast of 2006

• This Junkion is designated "SHORT JUNKION" in the Sunbow dialogue script for the episode.
• Various Lithone models were used to fill up the ranks of the Junkions in "The Big Broadcast of 2006" episode. The short Junkion's model too was originally used for a Lithone "child" in The Transformers: The Movie. For the comic adaption, he was given a new, real Junkion look. His size goes unaltered between the two designs.
