Alt.toys.transformers

alt.toys.transformers is an outstandingly ancient USENET newsgroup (dating all the way back to 1993) that until recently was the de facto center of internet Transformers fandom. This newsgroup was where many colliquial terms within Transformers fanon originated, such as alternate mode. ATT also eventually spun off various splinter newsgroups such as alt.toys.transformers.moderated, rec.toys.transformers.classic.moderated, alt.toys.transformers.fanfic, and alt.toys.transformers.marketplace.
