Alpha Trion is an Autobot from the 2001 Robots in Disguise continuity family.
You can't see me!

This character has no official visual representation in any Transformers product or media... yet, at least.

Alpha Trion is a wise Autobot Elder. He might be partners with Beta Maxx.

Fiction

2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon

Alpha Trion created Optimus Prime and Ultra Magnus at the same time on Cybertron. Ultra Magnus: Forced Fusion! Though making two Autobots with polar opposite personalities able to combine might have seemed counter-intuitive, Alpha Trion knew what great potential this would ultimately yield for the brothers. Ultra Magnus's profile in Club magazine #8

Ask Vector Prime

In Viron 704.31 Epsilon, Ultra Magnus merged with a dying Alpha Trion and became Ultra Trion. Ask Vector Prime, 30/7/2015

Notes

Maybe I'm me! And not that evil bastard!
  • Alpha Trion is a character that was added to the dialogue of the 2001 Robots in Disguise cartoon and is not present in the Car Robots version of the show, with Vector Sigma instead being said to have directly created Fire Convoy and God Magnus.
  • For a while, it was unknown from what continuity the BotCon 2007 toys Alpha Trion and Beta Maxx represented. In 2008, the Alpha Trion figure was used as the basis for the Shattered Glass incarnation of Alpha Trion. Later still, the Facebook version of Ask Vector Prime established a Beta Maxx as a dimension-hopper originating from Viron 704.31 Epsilon, a 2001 Robots in Disguise universe. It was not specified if the Alpha Trion toy which came with the corresponding Beta Maxx figure was supposed to now also represent a Viron version of Alpha Trion by virtue of association. It depends on whether or not Beta Maxx is meant to be interpreted as having had been partnered with the Alpha Trion in his home universe, only partnered with Shattered Glass Alpha Trion, or having been partnered with both. This has yet to be elaborated upon in fiction. Until anything is confirmed one way or another, we can only speculate whether or not the BotCon 2007 Alpha Trion toy is an accurate representation of THIS Alpha Trion.
