The Switchblade is a vehicle used by M.A.S.K. from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Switchblade is Miles "Mayhem" Manheim's vehicle of choice, a helicopter that can shapeshift into a fast-moving attack jet.

Fiction

IDW Generation 1 continuity

The Switchblade was one of the many vehicles developed by the Mobile Armored Strike Kommand as an advanced Transformer-elimination unit disguised as a civilian vehicle. Augmented with stealth technology developed from Blitzwing, it could remain invisible to Cybertronian sensors.

Working out of G.I. Joe's base on Governor's Island, M.A.S.K. field-tested their new assets in Greece, where Manheim piloted the Switchblade against Kup and Aileron. The operation was a success, and it was thanks to the Switchblade that the team managed to capture Kup. The Divine Source of Liberty Mayhem piloted the Switchblade when Action Man breached G.I. Joe's facility and liberated Kup from captivity, but was unable to recapture his Cybertronian prisoner. The Modern World

When M.A.S.K. made its final move on Autobot City, Miles lead the charge from within the Switchblade. The New Colossus Mayhem wound up ramming his vehicle into the gigantic Enerchanged form of Baron Karza, seemingly destroying himself and the Switchblade with it. This stunt was a ruse, however, and Mayhem had merely faked his death before escaping with the forces of V.E.N.O.M. Valley Forge
