The Nova Core is a technology from the Earth Wars portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

The Nova Core is a human engineering marvel that can create energy.

Fiction

Transformers: Earth Wars

The Nova Core was built by the humans. The Autobots sent First Aid in response to make sure that all the humans at the Nova Core facility were safe. Unfortunately, Reflector accidentally set off the volatile device and both Reflector and First Aid had to evacuate. Afterwards, Megatron tells Reflector to find the Nova Core and bring it to him. First Aid gets his medibots there first, and the four bots duke it out, in which Spectro accidentally drops the Nova Core into....water.

The Reflectors than reluctantly help First Aid contain the amount of energy being produced from the overloading core. Project Supernova events
