Spark disruptor

Spark disruptors are weapons from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

A spark disruptor is a device that, when attached to a Transformer, kills them without damaging their body by disrupting their spark frequency. Once activated, disruptors will home in on the closest available spark.

Sentinel Prime stuck a spark disruptor on Starscream, seemingly dooming him until Windblade made it jump over to her spark chamber instead, gambling that the disruptor was set to the frequency of Cybertronian sparks and wouldn't affect Camien ones.
