The Weaponizers were an experiment by Megatron, genetically modifying seven Mini-Cons to Powerlinx with a Cybertronian to grant them immense power. The project was incomplete when Megatron dissolved the Decepticons, and it was discovered by accident by Starscream in the depths of Darkmount while fleeing from Skylynx and Darksteel. Starscream was naturally very interested in the project, but before he could complete it the Weaponizers escaped, and hired the Scavengers to take them somewhere - anywhere - that was off Cybertron before the angry Seeker could catch up with them. Mighty Big Trouble. Buzzstrike, partnered with Paralon, was the first to encounter the Autobots on Earth when their quest for treasure led them to the Autobots' old base. He reluctantly aided Paralon in battling Sideswipe, using the Weaponizers' ability to "puppet" their partners after the scorpion was knocked out, and took down Sideswipe with ease before, to the Autobots' bafflement, leaving him and the treasure he was holding, spinning a tale to Paralon later about having been "surrounded by Autobots" and having to bail.History Lessons
