- Clutch is a Decepticon from an unknown continuity family who ended up in Axiom Nexus.
Clutch is an obsessive Decepticon-turned-Renegade. He transforms into a Chevrolet pickup truck.

Renegade Rhetoric
Clutch was recruited by Cy-Kill from the Offworlder Zone of Axiom Nexus. He was helping to plan a raid on Shockwave's lab to help Cy-Kill abscond with Shockwave's research into sparks.
Cy-Kill though his personality and alternate mode would work well with the competent BuggyMan.
Cy-Kill was eventually outed as the terrorist he never really denied being, prompting Cheetor and his security forces to attack. Cy-Kill counterattacked and, with the application of Monsterous, drove the OZSA back. Clutch was responsible for making sure all of the research stolen liberated from Shockwave's lab was ready for transport. He and the rest of the Renegades fled the current time period with the help of Gong, going to a time and place unknown to menace Guardians and Cybertronians alike. Renegade Rhetoric
Beast Wars: Uprising
According to the Antares Eight's records, the Clutch of their reality, along with Sky-Jack, Von Joy, Blaster, Dive-Dive, Spy-Eye, Street Heat, and Scratch traveled to Level 72 as part of the Diaspora. Cultural Appropriation

- Clutch, like all of Cy-Kill's Axiom Nexus recruits, never made an appearance in the Challenge of the GoBots cartoon.
- Clutch and his fellow Decepticon recruit, Warpath are both Super GoBot toys.
- Clutch's Cybertronian-style design from the "Cataclysm universe" is a "virtual redeco" of Dropkick from the 2007 Transformers film toyline.
