King Starscream is one of the many pseudonyms used by this user. His first transforming toy was a dollar store type tank that is still common in Eckard and CVS stores on the east coast. His first true Transformer was Deluge, a Decepticon with a working watergun weapon, given as a present in 1993. He currently has a collection in excess of 160 figures, which is constantly growing. He also helps run a webcomic site, home to three different series.
Bio
K.S. was born in June of 1986. He has been an avid Transformers fan since the age of 5, collection figures and watching the cartoons since he first discovered them. Over the next 15 years, he would acquire (and sometimes donate) figures from most of the toylines. Over the course of his life, over 300 figures have been in the collection, though by giving some away to those less fortunate enough to not own any Transformers, the number had shrunk to 119. Since then, however, it has steadily grown, particularly around the Cybertron era. Starscream loves not only the toys but the various TV series, with Beast Wars being his favorite.
But GOOD GOSH does he hate elitism. Just because you like one particular series does not mean that everything else ruined Transformers. Being a fan is one thing; being a jerk about it is another.
Collection
King's collection spans the entire history of Transformers, leading all the way back to Takara's Diaclone series, up to the newest figures in the Movie line. There are currently 162 toys in this collection:

With the release of the movie figures, KS's collection has shot up to over 150 toys, including Starscream, Optimus, and Megatron. This has made this collection complete as having at least one toy from every animated or live-action continuity released in America. It's also completist in having all movie characters who actually appeared in the movie. This includes '09 Bumblebee and Jazz, as well as several characters not in the movie.
In addition to toys, there are also a small number of DVDs. This collection is ever-expanding and will continue to do so until either Hasbro ends the Transformers line or KS dies, whichever comes first. Though not particularly huge, it is quickly getting bigger and bigger.
Kitbashing/Kitmodding
A lot of figures in King Starscream's collection have been kitmodded or kitbashed, usually for better show accuracy or due to improper assembly. These include Movie Megatron, Cybertron Ransack, and most of the 10th Anniversary Beast Wars figures.
Notable figures
- Anime Galvatron - a redeco of Gen 1 Galvatron in show-accurate colors. It comes with a Photon Rifle and a golden Matrix of Leadership with a necklace for Galvatron. Since it is a Takara import, it has a voice chip with the Japanese seiyuu's voice recorded.
- Diaclone Dino Robo T-Rex - The precursor to the Dinobot Grimlock. While identical in form, the main difference is the plate on its crotch. Instead of red, it's blue. While old, most of the vacuum metalized paint is still on it, and the joints aren't too worn out.
- 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime - Show-accurate all around, the only glaring flaw is that Peter Cullen couldn't be reached to record the lines for the voice chip. Bummer.
- Unicron - The Chaos Bringer's Armada incarnation is an increadible piece of work, with more articulation than any other Supreme class toy to date. with 27 Mini-Con plugs, it can easily be filled with enough left over to accomidate the rest of the Armada figures in this collection.
- Primus - The Cybertron figure was the first time his planet form was a toy, with higher detail but slightly less articulation than Unicron. Slightly shorter than the planet eater.
- Transmutate - Having collected the entire 10th Anniversary set for Beast Wars, Transmutate is now a highly prized member of this collection. Considering many fans only got Rattrap and Waspinator, Seeing a complete Transmutate is something of a rarity.
- Most of the characters from Armada are imported, including the above mentioned Unicron. Though not necessarily better, some have higher detail or slightly different molding (Hot Shot, for example, has a light in his hand for the Star Saber. A gimmick if there ever was one, but it doesn't restrict transformation or articulation).
It should be noted that there are next to no recolors in this set. While there are some Mini-Cons, they are (usually) meant to be new characters. It should be noted they are also played with, as they ARE toys and deserve love. Several have been kitbashed for better stability. For example, a layer of epoxy or glue is applied to a joint so that it isn't loose (allowed to dry before re-assembly), usually so that it can stand on its own. They are also going to be used in the UniCronicles. All of them.
Webcomic
Currently, KS is working on a webcomic known as the UniCronicles, a photocomic using the various character amassed over the past twenty years. While the story was originally a retelling of the Unicron Trilogy without the plot-holes, this line of thought has since been dropped for a more original take on the overall UT story. While it is light hearted, there will be a lot of darker undertones to the story, including the deaths of several of the characers (because 160 is a lot of people to keep track of) and the return of an ancient, unspeakable evil. As the author of the comic, he goes by the name "King Starscream," in light of the fact that his profile picture is of Cybertron Supreme Starscream, wearing his crown. It is more than apparent that Starscream is by far his favorite character, though newcomer Longarm has a pretty awesome toy.
