Adam Baldwin (born February 27, 1962) is an American actor best known for playing Jayne Cobb in Firefly (also starring Gina Torres and Alan Tudyk); and its feature film, Serenity. He appeared films such as Full Metal Jacket, Predator 2, Independence Day, and The Patriot, as well as TV shows including The X-Files, NCIS, Angel, Chuck and multiple 'CSI series.

Equally prolific as a voice actor, he worked on Static Shock, Men in Black, Invader Zim and Justice League.

He's not related to Alec Baldwin or any of the Baldwin brothers.
