On October 21 of 2016, members of the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) went on strike against a number of major video game developers, citing a breakdown in negotiations over standards that have not changed in two decades: safety concerns, unfair and deceptive methods used to prevent fair-pay negotiations over jobs, and much more. Nearly a year later, and they still haven't been given a fair contract.

Naturally, this strike includes a great many actors who have given their incredible talents to Transformers over the last three decades.

TFWIKI.net stands in support of these men and women fighting for their well-being in what is a tough job. Voice work is a vital part of the video game industry, yet those who do this work are frequently treated as disposable.

Update: On September 25 of 2017, SAG-AFTRA and the stuck game companies reached a tentative agreement to end the strike. The agreement still has to be approved by the union's board of directors. Read more about the agreement at the SAG-AFTRA official site.
