Richard Epcar (born April 29, 1955) is an American actor-voice actor / director and writer. He's done over 300 characters in games and animation. He also acts on camera in films, television, commercials and does tons of other voice work on trailers, commercial voice overs and narration of audio books-including 'White Eyes' a Doc Savage Novel. He has also supervised the dubbing of American movies into foreign languages and adapted and directed many foreign films-including many Academy Award winning films into English.

He's probably best known as Batou in Ghost in the Shell, the eponymous hero of Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo, Ansem, Seeker of Darkness and Terra-Xehanort in the Kingdom Hearts series, Myotismon and Etemon in Digimon Adventure, Raiden in the Mortal Kombat series as well as The Joker in the Injustice series, Zangetsu and Koga from Bleach, and Ben Dixon and Lunk from Robotech, to name just a few. He has played almost every major character in the Lupin III franchise (save for the title character), having portrayed Daisuke Jigen in the Geneon/Pioneer dub of Lupin III Part II and Mystery of Mamo, Inspector Zenigata in the Funimation dub of Lupin III: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine, and Ishikawa Goemon in the Manga dub of The Castle of Cagliostro.

Despite being a busy dude, he says he's very proud to be part of the Transformers universe.
