Energon Nautica was first available in the "Nuaghty Nautica" Challenge Event, a six-day contest. She moves at a good clip in both robot and vehicle modes. Her weapon launches water-bombs in a high arc similar to Acid Storm, which explode with considerable splash damage, then drop two more smaller bombs that fall in opposite directions. Properly powered up, she can obliterate block towers, but she's not very effective against Walking Mortar Towers, and just crap at tackling Boss Pig and Unicron Pig.
Like all Energon variants, she takes extra damage from enemy attacks, but can heal damage in levels by absorbing energon cubes from de-cyberformed scenery.
Notes
- Matilda is the last member of the original Flock to be added to the game.
- She uses Windblade's body (and all associated animations), with Nautica's flying-sub fan-wings, and of course a new head. However, she also uses all of Silver's voice samples, and the said new head lacks any form of facial animation whatsoever... which looks really weird next to tremendously expressive characters like Moustache Pig.
