Notes
- Contains an introductory note, several pages long, detailing the development of the North American Transformers franchise, the key roles of Jim Shooter and Bob Budiansky, and launch of the toys, comics and cartoons.
- Throughout the volume, notes are included explaining behind-the-scenes decisions and problems, such as the #3 inclusion of Spider-Man and the previous IDW rights issues with Circuit Breaker, whose appearances are restored in their respective issues.
- Though it contains the original covers, the MARVEL logo is removed from the corner comic box (since it's an IDW property now) and the bar code box is left empty.
