Photon (G1)

Photon is an Autobot from the IDW portion of the Generation 1 continuity family.

A star athlete in the races turned motivational speaker famous for his epigrams such as "Speed is a state of mind—learn to accelerate", Photon of Ibex ended up serving on the Vis Vitalis under the legendary Autobot hero Thunderclash.

IDW Generation 1 continuity

Having been invited to a "pre-wake" aboard the Vis Vitalis to honour Thunderclash before he died, Getaway and Nightbeat chased the panicking Decepticon Ravage into the ship's morgue. There they discovered Photon's corpse, but though he recognised him from his motivational speaking, Nightbeat didn't consider it that unusual to find a body in a morgue.
