N.B.E.

Non-Biological Entity, or N.B.E. for short, is a designation of strange, mechanical being of unknown origin.

N.B.E.-01, AKA "the Megaman," was originally uncovered during an expedition to the Antarctic by one Archibald Witwicky. Upon his return home, he reported his findings to a group known as Sector 7. Since then, Sector 7 has been studying the unusual creature, using clues gathered from studying its technology to advance science by leaps and bounds, as well as using an unusual artifact that seems tied to the being in order to create other N.B.E.'s. (This didn't work too well at first).

Since then, another creature of similar origin, dubbed simply N.B.E.-02, has encountered this organization. It appears more and more N.B.E.'s are taking interest in the affairs of this top-secret group, and their big, glowy toy.
