- Galvatron's Ship is a [[Category:Starships|Starship from the Generation 1 continuity family.
The ship made it's first appearance in Transformers: The Movie(1986) and appeared in the TV show hence.

The ship was created by Unicron when he recreated Megatron as Galvatron, along with the creation of the Cyclonus, Scourge, the Sweeps & Cyclonus' Armada. We don't actually see the ship created, It is extracted from the side of Unicron.
Galvatron's ship keeps with the color scheme of other Decepticon ships in the G1 animated series, in that it is completely purple. It also produces a purple thruster flame while flying. The ship is never given a name in the show, but Galvatron does refer to it as "The Mothership" at the start of The Rebirth, Part 1 episode.
The ship usually stays in orbit around the planet or other destination, and the Decepticons fly down.
It is unclear what happened to the ship after The Rebirth, Part 3 episode, as at the end of that story, Galvatron is shown piloting the Scorponok City/Ship with Lord Zarak.

The ship can have one controller, as shown in the movie.
There is at least one entry bay at the neck of the ship.
