• The word "cancelled" was not a fully accurate description of the end of the show's run, as its producers were able to determine the ending (admittedly because Ted Danson wanted to leave) as opposed to being terminated by the network.
• The "Swerve's" sequence from "The One Where They Go to Earth" is a reference to the series' opening.
