Notes

  • The Transformers I.Q. Last Issue Review continues Fun Publications' attempts to patch up the Constructicons' infamously contradictory history in the Generation 1 cartoon continuity for their Wings Universe. Devastator's profile in issue #42 reconciled the scene from "Five Faces of Darkness, Part 4" in which Megatron was shown being created by the team, while this feature describes a battle that left the Constructicons deactivated until their bodies were sent to Earth and rebuilt in the run-up to "Heavy Metal War" (where the idea put forth by "The Secret of Omega Supreme" that the Constructicons fled Cybertron to escape Omega Supreme and later joined Megatron on Earth fits in has yet to be covered). Hook was apparently supplanted by Scrapper as punishment for his failure. The section is illustrated with new artwork by Dan Khanna that shows the team battling their old comrade Hauler as well as Erector, in a nod to the character's Transformers Hall of Fame bio that humorously described him as former member of the team.
  • This issue promised that a poll would eventually be held on Transformersclub.com so that Club members could vote on which of the cosplayers seen on the cover would win the best BotCon 2012 costume prize.
  • Though her character was not officially recognized by Hasbro upon her creation for BotCon 1995, via the ongoing A Flash Forward storyline in this issue (and positive identification on the back cover I.Q Quiz), Nightracer is officially made a part of Transformers' canon.
