Lu Jianyi

Lu Jianyi (陆建艺 Lù Jiànyì b. ???, 1957) is a Chinese actor, voice actor. In 1987, he made a name for himself by dubbing the leading role Joe Bradley in the movie Roman Holiday, thus he laid an important position in the dubbing circle. His first dubbing role in Transformers series is Optimus Prime of Transformers: Armada. In 2007, he dubbed Megatron in Transformers (2007), and hereafter he dubbed the same role in the movie series. Besides Transformers movie series, he is also known as the Mandarin voice of Hector Barbossa (acted by Geoffrey Rush) in Pirates of the Caribbean movie series.
